i just finished piecing the mountain blocks (all 154 of them) this won't be the final layout. i'm still moving blocks around.
i'm playing with names:
Hard Rock Candy Mountain
Jelly Bean
Running Hot and Cold
Electric Technicolor
suggestions?
i love it!
these are my borders....i am definitely using the B&W for the inner border and i'm on the fence with the muli ones. i'd have to piece them cause i don't have enough to use one....yeah, i don't like the varigated- i'm going to find a different fabric for the outer border...
OMG!! Absolutely beautiful. I might have to break into my stash of batiks and make something similar. Love love love it.
ReplyDeleteWow - incredible!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! I like the name Popsicle Sticks!
ReplyDeleteI am working on a very boring brown version of this block. It's using up the old stash, but when I see your version (in colours I love) I can hardly force myself to sew the brown blocks!
This quilt is delightful. I love the color flow.
ReplyDeleteThose triangles look like teeth or ice crystals. "Frosty Hot Teeth"? "Sunny Cold Teeth"? "Hot Ice Crystals"? It's a colorful, pretty quilt!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm going to be singing "Big Rock Candy Mountain" all night long....
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is great, by the way! :)

ReplyDeleteI love Hoard Rock Candy Mountain. What a fun quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove-Love it! It does look like rock candy, so that's the name I'd go with. Can't wait to see it with the border.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. Looks like a "Hard Rock Candy Mountain" Hugs
ReplyDeleteHow about "Sunset in the mountains"? I see all those colours up here. Gorgeous?
