how can you tell when it's really hot outside????

the squirrels start to melt

(this is one of the babies that i rescued
he's sitting at the table davis built. there is a nail sticking up and we stick ears of whole corn on it for the squirrels. )

i guess i need to find something to put some water in for the relief of the backyard critters....
