how is a flimsy like a rabbit?

they keep multipling! i'm not complaining, that means i'm getting all these UFOs finished up! but, i need another flimsy like i need another hole in my head...here's a quick shot of MY tops that need to be quited....final count- 31! does anyone know a good machine quilter? *snicker*

i worked on this one yesterday.  i made these oak reel blocks back while i was waiting on something to ship....so i'm calling it "anticipation"  there is a nice feeling seeing it as a flimsy..

just need to find a border from my stash

  3. Love the term "flimsy" .. it's so apt. :-)

I thought *I* was prolific in the piecing department, but I bow before your awesomeness! Your love of piecing is evident ... if only the quilting would go as quickly! :-)

  4. well, I have to say that you definitely have me beat in the finished and ready to quilt department but I have been making a list of my UFO's that I want/need to do and so far my list is over 30 projects so guess what I am going to be doing in 2011... of course that also includes one I have just started (like your Block Head which I have 15 blocks done). Your fault you know...have a great holiday and see you soon..

  6. 31. I have 4 and feel way behind. Now that I think of it, I don't think I have even made 31 quilts. Wow, now I'm tired just thinking of 31.

  7. The greatest thing about reading blogs is there is always someone with more or less. The comments cracked me up! My initial reaction was - Whew...at least I don't have that many flimsies waiting but like Bertie, I have close to 30 UFOs so I guess I have twice as much work ahead of me!

  8. Ok. You've made me feel so much better. I was really thinking I had the largest number of UFOs ever. Maybe we need to create an "elite" group, as this may be a sign of major productivity. {so not in my case....LOL}.

I do love your flimsy collection.

  10. I think we run neck and neck in the flimsy category. I too piece a lot of tops but don't get them quilted. One reason is because of my scrap quilting club that starts 10 new tops a year. The other reason is I don't own or have room for a long arm. I sometimes borrow my friend's but I hate to take up her time and space too often. So, they sit and sit. At least I'm (and I'd guess you too) are using up some of the scraps that have taken over my studio.
