*throws that out the window* here's one of my block sets (i'm doing two, i want 24 blocks total)

nice. I like a good rule bending every once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI break rules a lot, but mostly because I am oblivious to them in the first place. Karmen
ReplyDeleteRules? What rules? :-) block looks great! I prefer "thinking outside the box". Happy rule breaking!!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilting on your quilts! Just found you
Rules were certainly meant to be broken in the quilting realm! What a fabulous way to break your own!! Beautiful block!
ReplyDeletelets think...hmm...maybe I could use apples in one rectangle, then corn in another and blueberries in another and then maybe oranges in the last rectangle and then I would have all the colors that would have been in a flower block and then with the 2nd set of 12 I could use pineapples, and eggs and grapes and oh yes, carrots....stash here I come!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am putting frogs in one set of my blocks...so, why not?!?!
ReplyDeleteThey were flowers before they were peaches. So, that's not breaking the rule, just going with the life cycle. Sounds good, anyway.
