wednesday

i thought i'd share the following quote. it was on a t-shirt from a t-shirt quilt i quilted a while back. i changed the wording a little, the original was geared to the sport it was for...anyhoo
to do something once takes luck
to do something twice takes practice
to do something three times takes perseverance

yesterday i posted two pictures from michelle, and i mention how cool the second quilt would look with creams...well, i played with that idea using EQ....see i told you it would look cool

  1. Hey Shannon, that is a very cool looking quilt. Are the hour-glass pieces appliqued after piecing? I would buy this pattern, do you know that name of the one Michelle had?

  2. Forgot to tell you that the hourglass squares are actually small snowball corner on the larger blocks. Very easy.

  3. I don't think my original answer got posted. The pattern is in the book Making Scrap Quilts to Use It Up by Lynne Edwards. It was originally published in the UK in 2003 and in the US in 2004. Lots of great scrap quilt ideas,
