first Theresa's block swap from a LQS.
i quilted feathers in the setting squares. i CCed and loops in the pieced blocks.
pearls in the border and my scroll design for the outer border.
then, rose's Christmas tree BOM.
a simple E2E filler with CCing in the blocks...
third, Roxanne's Sylvia's bridal sampler from the elm creek quilters books.
those are 140 6inch blocks!
she said it took her 4 and a half years to piece the quilt.
see the quarter? those nine patches have 1/4inch finished squares!
i quilted a dense loop meander to match the proportions of the tiny blocks.
this quilt is Lisa's.
it is her very first pieced quilt.
she did a great job and i'll bet it'll be the first of many!
she choose a solid white for the backing and the pink thread really shows the quilting!
this is a a classic blue and yellow color scheme.
made for a day bed in her florida home!
quilted with my 'scroll work' E2E.
then i got the binding done on my 30s swap quilt.
i went with Kona solid green.
it washed up great!
and it's done!!
so that's what i've done the last couple weeks!
thanks for looking
