it's that time of year again....pollen.a pollen count of 500 is considered high. i checked ATL's pollen count and today's count is 8164!!!wth? most of the pollen today is from trees. my guess- pine. it's horrible. i feel hungover without the previous night's festivities :) my throat is rough, my eyes feel like they are full of sand, and i have a headache and i have a general sticky feel...
i find it amazing that as i'm reading this morning's blog posts, there are people with snow still on the ground and it was 77F at 10am this morning...

ReplyDeletewe had frozen hail on our windshields this morning here in NW Washington! Wipers stuck with ice! I am SO ready for spring! That allergen meter is COOL! I wonder if there is one for my area! I know I have allergies to certain tree's, just not sure which ones......

ReplyDeleteWe had hail yesterday, and have been in full swing allergy season for over a month now. We were enjoying nice 80 degree temps all week here in AZ then the huge temp drop, in the 50's yesterday and today. But shouldn't last too long we are due for warmer weather mid week.
ReplyDeleteYes...still lots of snow at my house! Allergies are no fun...do you ever try Claratin or Zyrtec? I usually take them for a week or two to get through the high pollen season. I often take a half dose or alternate days to lessen the side effects of the medications. It keeps me from getting a full blown sinus infection.
ReplyDeleteYep, I swept the porch this morning so we wouldn't track yellow dust through the house. Tonight, it looks like I haven't touched it. We turned on the air conditioning yesterday. My studio is cool, though. Love the metal roof.
