white christmas!

we had a white chirstmas for the first time here in the ATL area since the late 1800s...we got a light powdering back in 1983, but that doesn't count...

here's a shot of the house and my punny attempt at christmas lights. notice they are on the inside...

look how big those flakes are.

mini-mon got a nice snow coat

here's barney's reaction to the news of  snow... i have to admit i agreed.

we spent the christmas weekend on the couch in front of the TV.

hope your christmas was festive and the very best wishes from us to you in the upcoming new year. (this is the end of the first decade of the millenium)

  1. If you wanna see SNOW- we have 2 feet on the ground and it's still falling. I know, that's because it's Maine.
Glad you had a good Christmas. And good for you knowing the decade ended this year, not in 2009 like some people thought.

  2. Just coz we have snow you had to have it too....lol....enjoy it while you can coz I guess it might be a while before you get any more...we are expecting more tonight, I am so sick of the white stuff...it's been five weeks now!

    Best Wishes

  3. I was in Memphis in 1983 - we got clobbered by snow over the holiday and they sent plows from Atlanta to clear our roads. Now I'm in Canada and it all seems ho-hum. Having said that - you can borrow our weather for as long as you like!

  4. I guess some of our snow went down to you, after all.

  5. We had about 5 inches here and it was beautiful. It was fun while it lasted. I was glad to be home.
