help me decide. i kindda know which one i'm leaning towards...
first this one...it has incomplete circles intertwined
and this one which is the 'traditional' X layout of Solomon's puzzle...
i plan on quilting it with an free hand E2E spikey swirl thing i do...the border fabric was in the bag too...
which do you like? why?
I like the first one....why???? I don't know, just seems to be more cohesive. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one, too...not so "planned". Love the colors...can't wait to see how you quilt it!
ReplyDeleteThe first one, I agree. I just like circles! It's gonna be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the incomplete circles as well. The other quilt just doesn't seem to have any 'design' to it...maybe in the picture it is lost? It just looks like a mish mash of color...
ReplyDeleteThe first layout holds my attention more. I keep looking and seeing new patterns there.
ReplyDeleteI vote for number one too. Just like it better.
ReplyDelete#1
ReplyDeleteMy vote #1.
ReplyDeleteThis summer I made a quilt very similar to yours. I called my pattern 'organized randomness'!
I like the first one. It makes an interesting pattern. Can't really see the design in the second one.
ReplyDeleteDitto! I hope we are not wrong!
ReplyDeleteI'm all for #1 as well, this will look great~
ReplyDeleteI vote for #1 as well but it looks like too much blue in one area, needs reworking of the colors. Yep, that should do it! G
ReplyDeletethe 1st one for sure.
ReplyDeletewell, it looks like I dont really have to say which one I like cause everbody is saying it before me but I like the first one better, I think because of the randomness of the quarter, half and full circles.
ReplyDeleteI'm usually the odd man out (I usually like the one no one else likes) ...but in this case I do have to ditto what they all said.
ReplyDeleteYep! #1
I like the first one because it doesn't seem so "organized." And I love the colors: it's beautiful.
