garden gate blocks done!

i interrupt tales from the west for this loverly quilting post:

remember my post about cindy's  (her blog: hyacinth quilt design) pillow inspired block....? (here's the link to her tutorial)

well, i have all my blocks pieced. i will sash and border it with the same kona charcoal that is used in the blocks...

i'm still loving this quilt....now i have to brainstorm how i'm gonna quilt it....custom or E2E? whatcha think?

  2. Wow, Shannon, I love it! Not sure that custom quilting would add much to the stunning design so I'm voting E2E.

  3. Love it, Shannon! I can't wait to see it with the sashing. I think that will really set the blocks off. You've inspired me to get going on mine!
