remains of the day

even quilting trash is pretty. i started a new quilt today, so i spent the better part of the morning cutting 288 2" x 9.5" strips. i decided it was time to utilize my 'earthy' batiks stash. i 'm using Bonnie Hunter's Weed Wacker quilt pattern....

i can't throw away these trimmings.....can you use them?  email me and i'll post them to ya!

ETA: davis has laid claim to them. he wants a scrap jar lamp like these i made a while back. he wants one for his office...
