feline epilogue

shortly after my previous post the phone rang....Smokey's family had seen the signs i hung and called to get him...i hit that nail on the head- he belongs to a 10 year old girl and her brother that is autistic. they were very happy to see him and i even got a hug from the father. i was told that Smokey's feline sister was missing him too....

so see- i told you -he wasn't mine to keep....

but get this- that little cat made it almost a mile from home in less than two days...

i love happy endings to a stray story....i told karma to put it on my furrie's tab

  1. Glad to see it turned into a happy ending.........but I still think you would have kept HIM. I don't think you are the kind of person that would see it or any other animal left without a home.

  2. Ok, you win...I still think you're a nice person even if you didn't keep the boy....nice to know a little girl got her pet back..

  3. We've lost a cat twice, and I'm sure the family was thrilled to get him back (and so well cared for!) I know we would have been... Thank you for posting signs and returning him!

  5. Oh, that is so great that you took the time to put up the signs, and that his family saw them. A truly happy ending. And you get big points for making it happen. I have had a few scenarios like that with dogs, and I am always so sad for them when they are lost, and so happy when their families find them. Yay you!
