Oh Shannon, I know it is hard to lose a baby. They give us so much and ask for so little. Karmen
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear of your loss. The time we share with our fur babies is never long enough.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about Lucy. Hope she meets up with my old buddies, Dickens and Pickwick for some kitty fun and games

I cannot think of anything to say except from the heart how sorry I am. 15 years is a good long time to have the privilege of her presence. Helen Keller's words express it well.

Aww Shannon,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. We had to do go through that recently with my daughter's cat. Don't be surprised if you still see him in the house. I still of images of where he used to go, and and I catch myself going to the door when I think I hear a meow. You will get through it.. Just will take lots of time, to heal the emptiness, and the pain.

I hope my Tigger met her on the other side of the bridge. He crossed the bridge last fall. He was 18. I know the empty hollow feeling. Here is a big hug. Maybe it will let you know people are thinking about you!!!!
